  • Students are expected to arrive on time for their lessons.

  • Lessons will not be extended for a student who does not arrive on time.

  • Lessons canceled at least 24 hours in advance with a notification provided to Miss Rodriguez are eligible for a make-up lesson but are not guaranteed due to Mis Rodriguez’s limited availability.

  • Please note that if a lesson is canceled and cannot be made up within the same month due to Miss Rodriguez’s availability, it cannot be rolled over to the following month for credit and is considered a lost lesson.

  • If the student would like to take a “break” for a month or more and plans on returning to lessons, please provide a 31 day formal notice and turn in a vacation slip to Miss Rodriguez.

Please note that if Miss Rodriguez is not notified 31 days in advance, a two-month lesson fee is required in full.

    Student Responsibilities:

Recitals and Performances:

  • All students at Rodriguez Music Studio are required to participate in the annual recitals as part of their musical development.

  • To facilitate this event, a one-time recital fee will be required for each student, which will cover costs such as venue rental and awards presented to the students.

  • Once a student is assigned music for the recital, they are expected to have their pieces fully prepared and (and memorized if instructed by Miss Rodriguez) no later than one month before the recital date. It is important that students consistently practice and make progress on their assigned material in order to ensure readiness for the performance.

  • Please be advised that students who fail to demonstrate adequate preparation and commitment to practicing the required pieces leading up to the recital may be disqualified from participating. This policy is implemented to uphold the high standards of the recital and ensure a positive experience for all participants.

    Discontinuing Lessons:

    Termination of Lessons:

  • Students may be asked to discontinue lessons if they have an excess amount of absences, behavioral issues, or unprepared lessons at the discretion of Miss Rodriguez.

  • Failure to comply with studio policies.

  • Failure to pay tuition on the due date.
